History

Chiniot Islamia Public School was established in 1986 under the patronage of Chiniot Anjuman Islamia , an organization dedicated to service of humanity especially the middle class in the field of education and health. The foundation stone of the building was laid in 1986 by Maj Gen Afzal Khan, the then Deputy Martial law administrator of Karachi zone. The school has now a purpose built building over an area of 2 × Acres of land on the main university Road . The institution is purely a service venture and is run on "Not for profit Basis" with the sole aim of imparting quality Education at an affordable cost. Ist batch of Matric consisting of 17 students appeared in 1991 and the result was 100 %. Since then the school has stood to its reputation and produced excellent results consistently. The results of 2007 batch of class X was the best in the history of school. In a batch of 103 who appeared in the exam, 96 got A1 grade and 7 were placed in A grade. Our student Hassan Khan got Ist position in Matric Board exam amongst boys. From any standard this was an excellent result.

The school started with a humble strength of 26 students only in 1986 and now it has approximately 1800 students. During the year 2003 management decided to start the Afternoon shift also for the Boys in Primary classes. A total of 124 students were admitted during the Ist year. The same year girls students were also admitted in class VI in the morning shift on the request of parents. Year 2004 was very eventful in the history of Chiniot Islamia School as the management decided to start following ventures:
